New York Times Editor Won’t Use Term Female Genital Mutilation: ‘Culturally Loaded’ and Divides People – Breitbart

The health and science editor at the New York Times told a reader in the newspaper’s “mailbag” feature that she decided not to use the term “female genital mutilation” because it is a “culturally loaded” term that widens the “gulf” between the West and the countries where the abuse is practiced.

………..

So the truth hurts?

  • Since it is often, if not almost always, done without anesthesia, the pain is excruciating.

    • Somalian grannies have been caught in Toronto doing it with a razor blade on the kitchen table – all while the mother holds the screaming kid down. How can we turn a blind eye to this clear cut abuse?
